This is simply not the case, as the recently published San Jose Articles point out.

Lethal injection for babies but not dogs and capital punishment.

Sumner county TN vet is charged with animal cruelty for killing dogs with lethal injections to the heart. He  has his license suspended for two years, probation for five years, $2K fine, was the subject of protesters when this information was made public.

Amnesty International objects to using lethal injection in the killing of death row inmates. They say it is not humane and is excruciatingly painful.  Some states have abandoned capital punishment.

Just thinking again about this method of late term abortion for babies like the twin boys in Australia and the others we never read about. Dogs and convicted criminals have more advocates than innocent children.

Who speaks for them?

Four dead baby boys...two mothers facing different reactions?????

What's the difference here?

I can't help but think of two recent stories......one in Hendersonville, TN where a woman delivered twin boys and suffocated them. She hid their bodies in the bathroom of her parents home. She was arrested and is now out on bail and awaiting trial for the killing of her twins.  Public reaction is shock and anger toward this woman.

The latest story out of Australia of  a woman who  carried twin boys until 32 weeks gestation (full term is 40 weeks).  The dr. diagnoses one twin with a congenital heart defect and she agrees to a late term abortion by means of lethal injection. The dr. makes an error and gives the lethal injection to the healthy baby and then performs a Cesarean section operation to terminate the unhealthy one. Public reaction is one of sympathy for the woman and she is considering a lawsuit against the hospital for the error.

Four babies are dead.....two mothers facing different public reactions? Can someone explain this?

That would have proved very embarrassing at a time when the the country was opposed to the then newly passed Obamacare, the 2010 elections were approaching, and some voters worried that the law could lead to “death panels.” So, rather than permit democratic processes to play out, the president acted cynically to avoid transparency.

Reports confirm Obama used tax $$ to lobby for abortion in Kenya

Of course he did....Obama's gift to the country of his father.....abortion.  He used our tax money to lobby for abortion in Kenya...which by the way is illegal.....but that does not stop the most pro abortion prez to date....
Cross posted at NY  Post.....

WASHINGTON — A government watchdog has revealed that the Obama administration gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to a group that lobbied to put pro-abortion language in Kenya’s new constitution, despite US law prohibiting funding to advocate either side of the abortion issue overseas.
The report by the Government Accountability Office validated concerns raised by Capitol Hill Republicans about the US-funded International Development Law Organization working to loosen abortion laws in Kenya.
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, called the US-financed lobbying in Kenya “indefensible.”

Australia: Further reports confirm unhealthy baby delivered and then "terminated"

Further  reports out of Australia confirm that the late term abortion  was meant to kill one baby (the one diagnosed with  "serious" heart defects).  The doctors advised this because they said  the baby would face many surgeries and issues.  The  parents agreed to the late term abortion but the hospital, identified as the Australia's largest specialist woman's hospital,  aborted  the wrong one....killing the healthy one.  So they immediately perform an "emergency" c section  to remove the twin boy identified with the heart defect and "had to terminate" him.

No they did not have to do this....they choose to do this. She could have carried her remaining offspring to full term and given birth and  needed care.  But apparently the parents or medical  personnel  or both did not think having a baby with a defect was worthy of life. His life may have been shortened by the defect, but we will never know because he was delivered and killed. Notice all the euphemisms given to the way they described the event.

I note in the interview that a woman who sounds like the Gloria Aldred of Australia is saying that she hope the couple will contact her so she can help them....as in sue for lots of $$. So how much will two lives get the couple??

"The procedure went ahead on Tuesday but the wrong foetus was terminated. The sick child also had to be terminated after an emergency caesarean."
" A spokeswoman says it's a terrible tragedy and the hospital is deeply sorry for the loss suffered by the patient and her family."
"After carrying her twin boys for 32 weeks a Victorian woman has now lost them both."
No, after carrying her twin boys for 32 weeks, she killed them.  She,  along with her  husband and the doctors who advised  and carried this out. They  will have to live with that.

Note all the sympathy for the woman and her family....and I might add for the two boys who were given a lethal injection to kill them.

Australian tragedy: Pregnant with twins now childless by "choice"

Horrible story out of Melbourne....

A woman pregnant with twins at 32 weeks gestation got the news that one of her twins is diagnosed with a serious heart condition. She apparently was strongly encouraged to abort and went with the recommendation. How awful..... well it gets worse.

The doctor performing the abortion injects the wrong twin killing the healthy one. Picture this for a moment before we go any further. At this stage of pregnancy, the method of abortion is an intracardiac injection of medication into the fetal heart.

Now the doctor delivers the unhealthy baby by cesearean section and per the article from the UK version of the Huffington Post
"Tragically, the doctor's blunder meant that the woman had to undergo a three-hour emergency caesarean to deliver the sick foetus, where it was later terminated."

This would be a live birth abortion.  Now the article focuses on sympathy for the couple who were expecting twin boys and are now childless by "choice."

In case you are thinking this cannot happen here....I personally know a couple pregnant with twins when a well known high risk specialist in Nashville advised abortion on one of the twins diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. They refused. If  they had followed his recommendation, they would have aborted the healthy twin because his diagnosis was correct but he identified the smaller baby has the one with CP when it was the larger twin.  BTW, the CP twin boy is now in college....so glad they rejected abortion.

  • Live Action catches Planned Parenthood in the act of misinformation again with a recent graphic posted on Facebook which erroneously claims 99% of women use contraception. Either they don’t think their “friends” don’t know any better or they don’t care about the truth – or maybe it’s both. Guttmacher stats show 62% of women aged 15-44 use contraception, which is a far cry from 99%. Apparently, when you don’t have the truth on your side, inaccurate slogans and chants will have to do.
  • Albert Mohler writes a hard-hitting post on the defeat of the Mississippi personhood amendment: Make no mistake, the human personhood amendment is not an incrementalist approach — it is a head-on assault against the logic of Roe v. Wade and the denial of human dignity at every stage of human development….
The bitter lesson of Mississippi’s defeat of the human personhood amendment is this: When it comes to moral reasoning concerning the unborn child, far too many just adopt Harry Blackmun’s moral framework and want to tweak it. Many in the pro-life movement want to shift his lines of moral judgment, but not to repudiate his deadly logic.
We may think we are pro-life, but if we do not affirm the personhood of every human being at every point of development, from fertilization onward, we are not really so pro-life as we think. Or, in other words, we’re all Harry Blackmun now.

MI: 27K praying frightens Huffington Post

Huffington Post doesn't get it and they are afraid....this is the takeaway after reading their article bent on criticizing Lou Engle's The Call which held a rally in Detroit that attracted 27,000 people for a 24 hour prayer/fast.

They did such weird things....sang and prayed. They are to be feared. This is a ruse, according to the article. They really want to strip away black votes from the Democratic party and defeat  Obama and other state Dems. They are afraid, very afraid.

These weirdos did not talk about gay rights or do Muslim bashing but HP saw their true agenda....."not values but votes." You can hear the fear dripping from their words. After all how terrible that people would vote their values and get off the plantation that Planned Parenthood designed just for them. Now the words Republican or Democrat was never uttered but the writer is brighter than those 27k  in attendance. It was about Big God...Small Govt.  THEY MUST BE STOPPED.

"In the end, one can only feel sorrow for this fanciful movement that is based on pure fantasy. It exists to restore an idealized version of the 1950s family that never existed. It contorts and distorts history to turn our founding fathers into false idols whose words and views are as inerrant as their Bible"

It must be exceedingly difficult for this movement to swallow, but we have surely reached a point where the strikingly bizarre behavior displayed at this rally is significantly weirder to most Americans than floats at gay pride parades.
Maybe the writer should have actually joined the 24 hour prayer and fast and maybe, just maybe... he would begin to understand. Congratulations to Lou Engle...he has them running scared.

Engle would say it is not him but the faithful finally getting it that scares them so.

Author compares abortion to tree pruning

“For me, abortion is like pinching the leaves off the mother plant to let it grow.”

Outrageous statements used to justify abortions by Linda Weber of Boulder, CO. She actually  makes a living as a spiritual counselor for rites of passage for women and has written a book  trying to normalize and glamorize abortion as a life choice and rite of passage for women.

Here is another quote....

We die into ourselves in one way or another throughout our lives. It is the way life creates itself. Abortion can be a great teacher about this both on the level of personal experience and for humanity’s relationship with the earth as a whole.

Abortion does not create life it kills it and the reference to pruning and the humanity's relationship with the earth   shows a twisted mind at work.
Save your money on this one.....

TN:PP went to the Supremes to protect Tennesseans from this smiling babe..

Perhaps I am prejudiced but I think this is the best looking Choose Life plate out there. So you pay a little extra for this....see what your donation can do! This plate is celebrating 5 years of being on the road.  It was a long hard road to get there ..PP and ACLU fought all the way to the Supreme Court to protect Tennesseans from this smiling babe ....

Tennessee’s Choose Life Plate Provides Hope, Protects Life

Alone, confused, and scared are just some of the feelings experienced by a woman who finds out she is pregnant unexpectedly.  Thankfully, throughout Tennessee, life-affirming pregnancy support centers offer hope, options and resources to women and girls in need, due in part, to drivers displaying the Choose Life specialty license plate. Since becoming available at county clerk offices in November 2006, more than 37,500 Choose Life plates have been purchased in Tennessee making it one of the state’s best-selling specialty tags. Most importantly, almost $600,000 has been raised by the plates to support life-saving agencies and projects designed to increase awareness and resources for at-risk women, children and families facing unexpected or difficult pregnancies.

In practical terms, the Choose Life plate proceeds represent funds used to positively promote adoption in our communities and to strengthen programs of privately funded non-profit pregnancy centers which exist to provide confidential support, counsel and resources at no cost to women in crisis.

Consider “Tracy,” a single mother of two who was a victim of domestic abuse. Upon learning that she was pregnant with her second child, Tracy believed that an abortion was her only alternative.  Instead, through the practical assistance of a local agency supported by Choose Life plate funds, Tracy has been able to escape her dangerous home life and gain the needed support and encouragement to care for herself and both daughters.  “I look at my baby and know that she is a miracle,” Tracy shares readily with anyone who asks about her life and decision to parent. “It’s not easy but I thank God for directing me to people who cared about me, my circumstances and my baby,” Tracy says.

For “Abby,” a billboard funded by Choose Life plate proceeds was the means of finding the help she needed to continue her pregnancy. “I suppose at the time I was ambivalent,” Abby explains.  “I didn’t really want an abortion but I didn’t know how I could care for a baby either.” It was during this critical period that Abby left a fast food restaurant and found herself staring straight into a sign advertising the services of a life-affirming pregnancy center located just doors away.  “From the minute I walked in the door I found compassion and care,” says Abby, “The decision was mine but it was easier to make knowing that I wouldn’t be alone and that help was just a phone call away.”

As Tennessee Right to Life and pro-life advocates throughout the state celebrate the fifth anniversary of Tennessee’s Choose Life plate, the political debate and court challenges surrounding its enactment hold little importance to women such as Tracy and Abby.  More significant to them, and hundreds of other Tennessee women served by plate proceeds, is that in communities all across Tennessee, help and hope exists to ensure that everyone has the resources, encouragement and support necessary to choose life.

He remains under house arrest, where he has been tortured and denied medical treatment. His health is in jeopardy.”
  • Right to Life of Michigan responds to Detroit News columnist and abortion advocate, Laura Berman’s claim that proper disposing of fetal remains is unnecessary and even psychologically harmful to women: Amazingly, Berman thinks women should have the completely unrestricted ability to have abortions but women shouldn’t be able to choose how they want the remains of their unborn children treated.
Wouldn’t most women who miscarry be more traumatized not knowing how the remains of their unborn children were treated? Isn’t it empowering to allow women to decide how their children’s bodies are treated?
Apparently, the decision to have an abortion is the only decision Berman views as empowering.

Abortion doulas ask your birth sign during abortion

I read Jill Stanek's quote of the day  about abortion doulas and found  it  so outrageous that I clicked over and read the whole article. It was fascinating in a sad way.

Doulas are usually associated with birth but these doulas specialize in abortions.  Trying to wrap your mind  around someone witnessing a late term abortion, seeing the head of the baby crushed and saying you were never more motivated to continue to assist in abortions is almost beyond comprehension. She  even  gives a shout out to  the pro lifers who show graphic abortion pics that people say are fake.

“Those pictures pro-life activists flash are real,” Ms. Mahoney said. “That is what a fetus looks like when its head is crushed.

Abortion doula's ....guess that is what they mean when they advertise holistic abortions. They rub your back, play soft music,  assure you  and ask what your sign is (as in what is your birth sign) . They say this focuses the woman on herself instead of what she is doing and everyone likes to talk about themselves.

The article discusses  abortions in NYC, the abortion capital of the US.    Medicaid pays for abortions and they teach you how to commit insurance fraud. No wonder the Big Apple is broke.  NYC is the most dangerous place for a baby in the uterus since 40% end up in pieces prior to birth. Bloggers give you info on  abortion providers that reads like a restaurant review.

Ms. Mitchell estimated that doulas see about 15–20 later term abortions a week, and about 75 first trimesters. In training, the instructors explain that many women seeking abortions are nonetheless not politically pro-choice. She handed out flash cards with real-life situations. The first read: “A woman tells you, ‘I just killed my baby.’ How do you respond?” The students broke into groups to discuss the question. Many came up with a similar answer: Explain that the procedure is legal because the fetus is not a baby, it just has the potential to be one.
What is your sign? Most of the doulas in training say their sign is Earth.

The shameless selling of abortion

Some are asking who would have abortion ads  (see previous post) offering $50 discounts for Sunday abortions . Is this made up? Is this satire?

Sadly no....look up Orlando Women's Center who boast   5 locations. There website looks like a posh spa ad  even saying free WIFI availability. Wow, would you want to check your email or post on Facebook during their speedy abortion?   How's that for multi tasking? The callous nature of what is being advertised is almost beyond comprehension.

I clicked on one of the flashy tabs with information about Reasons for abortion. It is the most shameless promotion of abortion....from minimizing the killing of a human life to dissing the option of adoption and normalizing abortion as the only reasonable alternative to an unplanned pregnancy.

They do not pretend they are there to offer you a choice....they are shamelessly promoting this choice for profit...... and a profitable one at that.
There is no disputing that human life occurs at conception, but fertilized eggs used for in-vitro fertilization are also human lives and those not implanted are routinely thrown away. A human being is not a citizen or has rights until it achieves personhood. Personhood is achieved only after the fetus is born. When personhood is reached and a life is taken, it is called murder. Is it murder to throw away fertilized eggs? If not, then how could abortion be murder?
Adoption is not an alternative to abortion, because it remains the woman's choice whether or not to give her child up for adoption. Only very few women who give birth choose to give their child up for adoption. Less than 3% of white, unmarried women and less than 2% of black unmarried women choose giving their child up for adoption. Women think that it is more of a sin to give their full born child up for adoption than to have an abortion
Over 750,000 teenagers become pregnant every year. 80% of those end in abortion. Teenage mothers who keep their pregnancy face grim prospects for their future. They are likely to leave school, receive inadequate prenatal care, and rely on public assistance to raise a child, develop health problems, or end up divorced.
Wait a minute, per the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, latest  stats the correct numbers are for teens choosing parenting-55%,
teens choosing abortion 27%,
pregnancies ending in miscarriage is 14%
<1%  choose adoption.
So this 80% is a bold faced lie designed to normalize abortion and discourage adoption and parenting. Shameless does not begin to address this.....

Abortionist offers discount on Sunday .

Accepting Abundance continues her investigative work on the advertisements of abortion clinics that may shock  even the veteran pro lifer. We have seen ads for gentle abortions, promises of  no memories , immediate recovery, no disturbing vacuuming sounds, and five minute procedures. Now she finds clinics who advertise Holistic abortions(whatever that is) and  medical abortions up to 24 weeks gestation where the intact preborn baby can be delivered so you can see, hold and  say goodbye privately.

But this was my showstopper....$50 savings coupons for Sunday only. I hope he did not ask you to bring a church bulletin to get the discount!

  • Real Choice examines the National Abortion Federation’s supposed “high standards” for their abortion facilities. Apparently, ignoring the deaths of women in their clinics falls under these “high standards.”
  • Stand for Life features a video by Greg Koukl, founder and president of Stand to Reason, which “examines if being a Christian makes one more close-minded.” Monte at SFL answers: I say a resounding NO when it pertains to the life issue. Christians who argue the pro-life viewpoint often will state a position against abortion using Christianity, but they sometimes use a secular approach, if need be, by defending life with science and philosophy.”

WA Times: PP targets targets blacks

Better late than never. Washington Times editorial gets it ....finally....and puts it out there in the first paragraph.

Planned Parenthood, a self-styled “health care provider” and “informed educator” on women’s sexual health, has been promoting abortion since its inception in 1916. This has had a devastating affect on America.

They then dare to ask the E word...eugenics? Could Planned Parenthood be working to systematically eliminate the black population? Ya, think?
According to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on sexual and reproductive health research, 13 percent of the U.S. population is black, but 37 percent of all abortions are performed on black women. More than 10 million black babies have been aborted since 1973. Black women are 4.8 times as likely as white women to have an abortion. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also indicates that one out of every five white pregnancies ends in abortion, whereas one out of every two black pregnancies ends in abortion.

Michelle Duggar:Feminists do not like her choice....

A blogger at the Washington Post writes that the internet seems to be mad at Michelle Duggar for getting pregnant AGAIN. I thought it was all about choice and when  that choice doesn't fit in with the popular trends...beware.

"Now it would seem, the view is that a woman’s only place is at her desk, in a pantsuit, with a nanny at home watching her two children. She must be a card-carrying supporter of Planned Parenthood, or else she is complicit in the ever-illusive “war on women.”
"That view presents a woman who is opposed to abortion, eschews contraception, opts out of a career to tend to her children, or has a large family (or all of the above), as anti-feminist, oppressed, and ignorant. It, ironically, makes her a second-class citizen, because of her choice. "

  • Live Action reprints a letter written by Rep. Joe Pitts debunking NARAL’s claim that his bill will “let women die” because it does not force hospitals to perform abortions.
  • ProLifeBlogs links to information on the hiring of the Rev. Dr. Derrick Harkins, a pro-abortion liberal and evangelical pastor, as the head of the religious outreach program of the Democratic National Committee. Institute on Religion and Democracy President Mark Tooley notes: “The DNC selection of Harkins is understandable given his liberal politics and his connections with mostly conservative evangelicals. As a board member of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), he has ready access to leaders of at least 40 member denominations.
Should a pastor work directly for a political party while also leading a church? The Religious Left would complain if an evangelical pastor were similarly hired by the Republican National Committee.
It remains to be seen if traditional, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage evangelicals listen to Harkins’ appeals on behalf of the DNC.”

  • Big Blue Wave reports on a strange “toy” selling in Kazakhstan (pictured left). No one seems to know who made the toy, a “plastic keg-shaped box” which “contains a human embryo in red liquid. If the cover of the container opens, the embryo falls out together with [a] sticky mucus.”
  • Mark Crutcher writes a powerful piece chronicling the life and passing of Samuel Yvette, an African American journalist who questioned the motives of the abortion industry, and in particular, Planned Parenthood. He chronicles his professional rise – and rapid fall – after writing about black genocide. Crutcher likens this situation to the current attacks on GOP candidate Herman Cain, who also dared to call out PP for their part in black genocide. He writes: Early on, the leaders of the eugenics movement had figured out that it was best for them to keep their racial intentions hidden. They also understood that it would be hard to pull this off if a lot of “uppity” Black opinion molders started challenging their actions and questioning their motives.

  • Euthanasia Prevention Coalition chronicles the taping of a recent Dr. Oz episode on assisted suicide. Unfortunately, the show’s bias in favor of assisted suicide was apparent.
  • LTI reposts a popular article about the chance meeting of a young man with Down syndrome: [H]e remains one of the top five friendliest people I have met in a men’s locker room. As he walked out and the voice in the hall greeted him warmly I was haunted by the fact that our culture is largely committed to the belief that people like that young man should not be allowed to be born.
  • Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life posts on disturbing initiatives coming from the United Nations which, “rather than focusing on ways to improve maternal health… are pushing a radical agenda to promote and expand abortion all around the globe.”

Number 20 on the way.....Duggars

The Duggars are expecting their 20th.  Watch for the media to condemn them for their quiverfull attitude.
Before you get too critical,  remember that they are excellent parents who take very good care of their  well behaved  and happy children. They are not on any public assistance. So what's  the beef?

"We are so excited," says Michelle, 45, who is now about three-and-a-half months into her pregnancy and due in April. "I feel good. I am past the sickness stage now."

The Tontitown, Ark., couple, who are parents to children Joshua, 23 (who is married to Anna, 23 and has two children, Mackynzie, 2 and Michael, 4 months), twins Jana and John-David, 21; Jill, 20; Jessa, 19; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; Josiah, 15; Joy-Anna, 14; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 12; Jason, 11; James, 10; Justin, 8; Jackson, 7; Johanna, 6; Jennifer, 4; and Jordyn, 3, weathered the medical emergency of their youngest daughter, Josie's birth on Dec. 10, 2009.  "
Michelle says she is in her best shape yet at 45. I believe it. She is working out for an hour on her elliptical. Jealous....I did 40 minutes the other day....I usually do 20 per day but knew I had to increase it as I plateaued.   But I am almost 20 years older than her.

Best wishes.....

Jezebel: TN can "suck" with the best of them...

Ahhh the wordsmith and the mounting hysteria from dear Jezebel. Thanks for the shout out for TN.

"Not to be overshadowed once again by its taller, skinnier sister Mississippi or its more popular cousin Ohio, Tennessee is reminding the rest of America that it, too, can suck with the best of them.
Supporters of the word jambalaya of a constitutional amendment, called SJR 127, say that it will simply give lawmakers the power they require to appropriately regulate abortions. Detractors call bullshit, saying it opens the door for an abortion ban and allows Tennessee politicians to crawl up in everyone's uterus and have a look around. Pro lifers are, predictably, overjoyed."
Now what has her so upset? The audacity that the TN voters will have the opportunity in 2014 to vote on whether their elected legislators,  answerable to the public will have the right to put restrictions around abortion such as informed consent, waiting periods, and late term abortions done  in hospitals . What? Isn't that already in place?

History lesson....it was.

These restrictions were voted into place by the bipartisan elected legislators. But then what do they know?? Enter the ACLU and Planned Parenthood who never met an abortion they did not like. They decided that the liberal judges on the state supreme court might  friend them and friend them they did. So the ACLU and PP sued saying that any restrictions around their fave  action....abortion ...might be an undue burden on the woman and their guess was right...the judges agreed.!

They said that the state constitution written in the 1800's held a right to abortion in TN.  Out with the regulations.... but the public spoke again through their elected bi partisan legislators and said that the people of TN deserved a say so here. Now amending the constitution is a laborious project and many friends of the abortion industry fought against this coming up for a vote in the state legislature. But persistence pays off and a funny thing happened to those die hards. They were voted out of office or had a swift conversion experience.

So yes, Jezebel has heard the alarm from PP and ACLU.....yikes if  the people vote...could it be??
Better get innuendo and razz matazz going  here speaking in  lofty terms like "bullshit"  and calling names...whatever!!

We can't let   things such as informed consent happen in TN. Imagine, just imagine,  if women knew facts and then considered them....imagine if late term abortions were only done in hospitals?  Oh the sound of silence in those  cash registers at PP??

FOTAI ......Friends of the Abortion Industry....you must stand with us.

JEZEBEL WHERE ARE YOU?

Memphis paper hypes the PP argument against MS Personhood Amendment

The Commercial Appeal in Memphis which makes no secret of their advocacy for the abortion industry has an editorial in today  using the term "fertilized egg" showing their ignorance of biology or  their willingness to use inaccurate terms to advance their agenda.

They also don't mind repeating scare tactics and misinformation advanced by Planned Parenthood who are so  desperate to defeat this that they using the resources of PP in other states. I have previously noted that Barry Chase, Memphis CEO of PP is a board member of Mississippians for Healthy Families along with an ACLU lawyer and another PP executive from another state.

Their despicable robo call put out implying that popular Gov Haley Barbour is opposed to the Personhood Amendment was personally denounced by him and he demanded that they cease. He has already voted for the amendment via the absentee ballot and made this public.

The Commercial Appeals put forth the inaccurate scare tactics of women dying from ectopic pregnancies, banning IVF etc.  The advocacy of the CA is well known as well as their willingness to play fast and loose with the facts.
